The seventh FAST Sprint Meeting takes place in Joensuu in February 3 and 4, 2026. Join us to exchange ideas, learn from industry experiences, and meet other doctoral researchers and supervisors working in Software Engineering!

The 6th FAST Sprint Meeting gathered more than 70 doctoral researchers and supervisors in Software Engineering.

Over two dynamic days, we explored a wide range of topics—from responsible research with Generative AI and inspiring career stories to turning research into startups. With focused conference sessions and community meetings, the event sparked engaging discussions and new collaborations. The GPT Lab in Tampere is organizing the very first Summer School on Generative AI in Software Engineering in Tampere during June 16-18, 2025. We have a full fledged 3-day program on all aspects of GenAI from both industrial and academic viewpoints. We have great keynote speakers and super fun program.
