About Me

Hello! I’m Qaiser Khan, a Doctoral Researcher at the University of Oulu, with a strong background in Software Engineering and Information Systems. I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Oulu, where my Master’s Thesis was titled “Epilepsy Seizure Classification Based on EEG Signals Using Machine Learning.” With 3 years of experience in Web Development, I have worked with companies like Mistiqube in Pakistan and Fingersoft in Finland.

Research Title

Automated Quality Assurance Process Using Multi-Parameter AI Model for Medical Software in Brain Health

Research Questions

  1. What are the key QA metrics, particularly data quality metrics, for AI-augmented medical software, and how can existing standards be adapted for AI-specific challenges?
  2. How can an automated QA algorithm be designed to monitor real-time performance while meeting regulatory standards?
  3. How can the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process for AI-augmented medical software be validated using Design Science Research?

Research Overview

My research focuses on the Automated Quality Assurance Process using a multi-parameter AI model for medical software in brain health. It addresses the challenges of insufficient quality metrics and performance indicators for AI-augmented medical software. The aim is to design and validate an automated QA algorithm that ensures real-time performance monitoring while meeting regulatory standards. This research bridges the gap between the benefits of AI in healthcare and the challenges of practical integration, contributing to the safe and effective use of AI in medical software.
