What is Learning analytics?
What is my work about?
My work focuses on blending explainable artificial intelligence with Idiographic methods in the realm of self-regulated learning to create personalized student support tools.
What is the aim of my work?
My work aims to provide tailored and explainable guidance and feedback to enhance student learning process and outcomes.
What is the rationale behind my work?
1- The explainability element behind the insights of learning managements systems is less emphasized and its importance is not reflected enough.
2- The insights and predictions generated are mostly conducted by averaging across a sample of students to derive norms and averages of the included students which is inaccurate and poor representative of the individual level or N=1.
What is the desired results of my work?
A tool that uses student data from multiple resources. The data is used locally to model the student and generate insights and explainable recommendations.
