About me

I am a researcher in software engineer and a data scientist at Åbo Akademi University, with expertise in software validation and verification, machine learning, and enterprise solutions. These areas of expertise are central to my current research and professional activities.

With over a decade of experience, my previous roles include industrial consulting, where I focused on intelligent manufacturing and supply chain management, and my recent academic involvement in research projects such as Åboat and AIDOaRT.

My research

My goal is to make significant contributions to the development of an automated and scalable framework for optimized test case generation, utilizing adaptive surrogate models and distributed executions for the efficient falsification of cyber-physical systems under real-time resource constraints.

Next steps

  1. Develop and implement a cutting-edge distributed framework to conduct parallel testing of black-box systems, ensuring robustness, fault tolerance, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  2. Advance and refine existing surrogate models, including but not limited to Generative Adversarial Networks, Reinforcement Learning, and Genetic algorithms, by introducing innovative adjustments and enabling real-time training capabilities.
  3. Evaluate a wide range of models across various Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), with a particular focus on autonomous navigation and related applications.
